Reinforced concrete pavements are widely used in high- volume roadways due to their durability and load-carrying capacity. This case study examines these process of implementing such pavements, highlightin key considerations and d outcomes.

Přehled projektu

Ty projekt involved konstrukting concrete pavements on a busy highway with an average daily traffic of over 50,000 traveles. Te goal was to imprope pavement lifespan and reduce concessiance costs.

Design and Materials

Te design incorporated a slab contenness of 250 mm, attraed with steel bars to with stand heavy tails. High- quality concrete with a compressive credith of 40 Mpa was used to ensure durability.

Konstrukční procesy

Te konstruktion phhase involved setral steps, including site preparation, formwork installation, etherement placement, and concrete pouring. Quality control measures ensured propr compaction and curing.

Výstupy a výhody

Te accreted concrete pavement demonstrand excellent performance under high traffic loads, with minimal cracing and surface wear after two years of service. Maintenance requirements consided consistently compared to traditional ashalt pavements.
