Understanding Variable Valve Timing

VVT seřizuje timing of the opeping and closing of engine valves. By changing valve timing based on on engine speed and cheard, VVT improvises airflow into the combustion chamber. This results in better power departy and fuel effecty.

Implementation in a Modern Engine

A mid- sized gasoline engine was equipped with a VVT systeme to evaluate its impact on torque. Sensors monitored engine parametrs, and an equipped control unit (ECU) settled valve timing dynamically during operation.

Te VVT system advanced valve timing at low RPMs to improvizace torque and responveness. At higer RPMs, it retarded timing to prevent knocking and optimize power output. This adaptive accerach resulted in a signateable increase in engine torque across various driving conditions.
